The story of a photographer
Ever since I was young I have always LOVED photography. As a kid I was always running around with a cheap digital camera taking pictures of my childhood pets, scenery and my dad's cool old cars.
I have been animal crazy since day one and capturing the tender moments between pet and owner is my absolute FAVORITE thing to photograph. I grew up in middle of no where Iowa on an acreage and would not trade it for the world. Growing up taking care of animals and helping out on the farm taught me to always put others before myself and to work hard.
After High school I attended Iowa State University (GO CYCLONES) and graduated in 2019 with a bachelors degree in Animal Science and General Business. During my time at Iowa State I competed in IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) and of course I took it upon myself to document each competition by taking my camera along.
I now work full‑time in the wonderful world of insurance, primarily serving Commercial Food & Agri‑Business companies, while also owning and growing Amber Rose Photography. Running my own photography business has truly been a dream come true, and I can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take me! My husband Josh and I live on a small acreage in Miles, IA, where we have a few horses — and of course, our spoiled barn cats. Lately, gardening has also become a favorite hobby of ours.
Join me in making memories that will last a lifetime. I promise you wont regret it!
